How we make money

Last updated

Club Camping is free to use. We pay for it with affiliate links: when you buy through some links on our pages, the shop pays us a commission. You pay the same price.

Amazon (live)

Our kit pages, such as camping chairs and roof tents, show products from Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, Club Camping earns from qualifying purchases. Prices on those cards come from Amazon, show when they were checked, and disappear after 24 hours.

Brands and shops (live)

Some kit pages and guides link to a brand’s own shop. Today that’s TentBox, through the Impact affiliate network: if you buy a TentBox through our link, TentBox pays us a commission. We only state facts from the brand’s own pages, with the source and the date we checked. We don’t show their prices.

What this never changes

  • Which campsites we list, and the order they appear in, never depend on who pays us.
  • What we say: facts come from OpenStreetMap, campsites’ own websites and owners, and makers’ own pages, with the source shown.
  • We haven’t tested the products we list, and we say so.

How to spot a paid link

Paid links sit next to a short note saying they may earn us a commission, and they’re marked as sponsored for search engines.
